Photos From My Phone | 15th-21st April
If you follow me on Instagram, you'll know that I take a lot of photos on a (somewhat) daily basis of complete and utter nonsense, I thought it would be a good idea to do a weekly roundup of them. I thought it would be a good idea, especially since I plan on doing a lot of exploring now that the weather has started to warm up, and would be a nice way to document my last few months in Copenhagen. I can't promise that I'll stick to this - I haven't been good at keeping this little blog updated - but hopefully it will be a bit of fun.

Monday 15th April
Since I'm in a bit of a study rut, I decided to follow a tip I saw on Instagram, and study in a cafe without my charger, meaning the amount of time I had to finish my to-do list was limited. Whilst I was sceptical that it would work, it turned out to a good tip, so I ended up writing about three pages for my essay (not bad to say it took me an hour to write 88 words the other day). It definitely made me appreciate Copenhagen more, and was a nice change from doing work in my bedroom and looking out at the (sort-of) concrete jungle that I live in so I'll definitely be doing this again this week.
On a side note, the picture overlooking Amagertorv currently has more than 700 likes on Instagram, which is insaneeee, and totally irrelevant right now but I am in actual shock!
Tuesday 16th April
Sadly, I didn't take any photographs on Tuesday. The morning was spent doing work in my bedroom but I did end up meeting Rosie, and eating a delicious cinnamon roll from Taffelbay in the Rose Garden. We also spent the afternoon watching the new episode of Game of Thrones (which, if I'm being honest, was a bit of a let down), and discussing how we thought the show would end/how we thought would happen in the second episode - which turned out to be wrong, but I don't mind since A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a literal piece of art.

Wednesday 17th April
Wednesday was a pretty slow day, but I did make some amazing bread (who knew that year 8 food tech would come in so useful?) and some soup. Aside from that, it was a quiet day but I did start watching The Office (US) which is pretty great, even if I am very late to the party.

Thursday 18th April
Thursday was also a pretty chilled day, I managed to get some university work done and went for a stroll around Kalvebod field. I managed to get a few photos taken, and I was definitely judged by a couple sat nearby for having a photo taken in front of the white cherry blossom tree..
It turns out that Denmark celebrate Easter way more than we do in the UK, with four ( yes, four) bank holidays where most supermarkets, and almost all other shops, close on the Thursday, Friday, Sunday, and Monday. It was definitely interesting cooking on Thursday and Friday, with almost no ingredients to use.
Friday 19th April
Again, I didn't take any photos on Friday... I'm off to a great start. I spent the day reading for my essay, and watching The Office so there wasn't much to photograph, even for me, who takes pictures of everything and anything if I get bored enough.

Saturday 20th April
Saturday was a great day, I finally went to the zoo which was so much fun. I did take a lot of photos but will post those in a separate post (even though they were taken with my real camera so would it be cheating to post them here? who knows)
At the zoo, I ate fish and chips, which made me really happy. It's definitely something I miss most about the UK, aside from Chinese food, Cadbury's and Primark.

Sunday 21st April
It was definitely an interesting Easter Sunday. Rather than go to Locke Park and take part in an Easter Egg Hunt with Lola, I went to brunch with Rosie in Østerbro - which was an effort to get to since the metros were barely working and Christianshavn was chaos. We went to Designcafeen which was pretty cool, and the food was great. Then, since it was 18 degrees, we decided to go to a nearby beach, which was pretty cool. I would definitely go back and have swim in the sea. The neighbourhood was so cool too, you could definitely tell that we were in an affluent area of Copenhagen, and I didn't feel jealous, at all, of all of the pretty houses nearby.
